Christoph Kargruber will be taking over as Sedus Stoll AG’s Chief Marketing and Sales Officer from 1 October 2021. The native Austrian graduated in business administration with a focus on corporate management from the Leopold Franzens University in Innsbruck and brings with him over twenty years of international management experience in the B2B2C sector.
During his many years at D. Swarovski KG in Wattens, Austria, he was Executive Vice President of Innovation and Product Management. Three years ago, he moved to Ritzenhoff AG in Marsberg, Germany, where he was responsible for corporate strategy, marketing and sales as Chairman of the Board.
Christoph Kargruber sees himself as an entrepreneurial and strategically thinking leader. He has carried out successful sales work in various countries and cultures and has managed over 400 employees. His core competencies include sales, strategy, brand management and communication.
Management board trio complete again
The Supervisory Board and shareholders of Sedus Stoll AG are delighted with the new appointment and are convinced that they have not only found a competent successor to Holger Jahnke, who unexpectantly died last November, but also the right colleague for the future Sedus Management Board trio. This comprises of Daniel Kittner (Technology, Development), Cornel Spohn (Finance, Human Resources, IT) and now, Christoph Kargruber (Marketing, Sales), who will continue the success story of the 150-year-old company with reliable continuity and also with new focus.
The Sedus Stoll Group closed the 2020 financial year with a turnover of over 184 million euros and currently employs over 900 people. Sedus is one of the leading full-range suppliers of office furnishings and workplace concepts, is represented as an established brand with eleven subsidiaries in Europe and Dubai and is present in over 70 countries worldwide.
