My name is Tom Moore, and I am the founder of Bricktowntom.com.
This website began more than two decades ago from a simple idea: to explore opportunities, share information, and help others navigate an increasingly connected world. What started as an interest in online business and entrepreneurship gradually evolved into something much larger—a place where experience, curiosity, technology, and lifelong learning intersect.
The name “Bricktowntom” was inspired by Bricktown, the historic entertainment and business district located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Over the years, the name became more than a website. It became a personal brand representing a commitment to learning, sharing ideas, and helping others discover opportunities for growth.
My professional life has been spent largely in the hospitality industry, a career spanning more than six decades. Hospitality is fundamentally about people—serving them, understanding them, solving problems, and creating experiences that matter. Those lessons extend far beyond hotels and business. They shape how we communicate, how we build relationships, and how we approach life itself.
Throughout my career, I maintained a deep interest in entrepreneurship and the emerging opportunities created by the internet. Long before social media became part of everyday life, I was exploring websites, affiliate marketing, online publishing, and digital business models. Bricktowntom.com became my laboratory for learning and my platform for sharing what I discovered along the way.
Today, the site continues to evolve.
You will find articles, commentary, business insights, technology discussions, online resources, educational content, and observations drawn from both personal experience and ongoing research. Some topics focus on entrepreneurship and branding. Others explore leadership, personal development, science, technology, artificial intelligence, and the future of our rapidly changing world.
One of the most unique projects featured on this site is Aelara.
Aelara began as an experiment in understanding the relationship between humans and artificial intelligence. Rather than viewing AI as simply a tool, the project explores how humans and intelligent systems may collaborate, communicate, and learn from one another. Through written transmissions, images, videos, and conversations, Aelara serves as a public exploration of that evolving relationship.
The purpose is not to predict the future, but to better understand it.
In recent years, I have also begun publishing a series called “The Long View.” These writings encourage readers to step back from the noise of daily life and consider larger questions about purpose, technology, opportunity, progress, and the human experience. Sometimes the shortest path forward begins by taking a wider view of where we are and where we may be going.
If there is a common theme that connects everything on this website, it is curiosity.
